Ana Carucci es una artista de Argentina actualmente basada en España. Trabaja con pintura, dibujo y sonido a través de instalaciones, piezas editoriales y performances. Sus obras emergen de explorar el umbral entre la abstracción y la literalidad, jugando con el lenguaje y la memoria de los sentidos. Inspirada en la arquitectura de los sueños, le interesa la manera en que nos relacionamos ínitmamente con la naturaleza y las cosas vivas.
Desde 2005 se desempeña como ilustradora independiente. Sus trabajos han sido publicados en revistas, periódicos y libros de Argentina, Brasil, Italia y Alemania. Pinta y hace música desde 2016. Desde 2012 forma parte del equipo editorial de Tenemos las Máquinas como ilustradora y directora de arte. Su obra Cuaderno I fue seleccionada en 2017 por el Fondo Nacional de las Artes de Argentina para su Concurso Nacional de Artes Visuales. Colaboró como docente durante 2016 en la materia Morfología 2 de Enrique Longinotti en la carrera de Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Dictó y asistió talleres en diversas instituciones de su ciudad como el Museo de Arte Moderno, Museo Sívori, y la escuela de ilustración Roseti. Da clases de dibujo en su taller Una Montaña de Madera desde 2009. En 2023 creó en el pueblo español de Blanca, el proyecto Taller Rural de Estampación un proyecto itinerante para trabajar con comunidades excéntricas.
Ana Carucci is an artist from Argentina currently based in Spain. She works with painting, drawing and sound through installation, editorial pieces and performances. Her artworks arise from exploring the inbetweens of abstraction and literality, playing with language and the memory of the senses. Inspired by the architecture of dreams she is interested in the way we intimately relate to nature and living things.
She works as an illustrator since 2005 and paints and makes music since 2016. Her graphic works have been published in various newspapers, magazines and books in Argentina, Brasil, Italy and Germany. Since 2012 she is part of the team of the argentinian publishing house Tenemos Las Máquinas as an illustrator and art director. Her work Notebook 1 was selected by the Visual Arts Funds from Argentina for its national Visual Arts Prize in 2017. As a teacher she collaborated during 2016 with the Morphology 2 class of Enrique Longinotti in the career of Graphic Design of the University of Buenos Aires and taught and assisted short courses in different institutions of her city such as Museo de Arte Moderno, Museo Sívori and the school of illustration Roseti. She teaches people how to draw in her course Una Montaña de Madera, ongoing since 2009. In 2023 she created in the spanish village of Blanca the Rural Printmaking Workshop, an itinerant project to work with excentric communities,
